Fire destroyed two garages early Saturday morning in Cedar Falls. Fire Rescue was called to the 1000 block of Bluff Street just prior to 6:00 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived on scene they found the garages fully engulfed in flames. A Chevrolet truck that was parked adjacent to one of the garages was also on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could spread to homes in the area. The garages and the truck were completely destroyed. Two other vehicles and the siding on the rear of one home was damaged due to the heat. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
