Police in Waterloo are investigating two shootings early Sunday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The first shooting took place around 1:00 a.m. in the 400 block of Oliver Street. One shot struck a house a few blocks away on N. Barclay Street. Police found seven spent 9mm shell casings. Then, around 4am, another shooting was reported, this one in the area of Lincoln Street and Logan Avenue. Two houses in the 100 block of Lincoln Street were hit by gunfire. Police found 12 9mm casings and four 10mm casings at the scene. It is unclear if the shootings are related. Nobody was injured and nobody has been arrested to this point.
