Two teens were arrested in Waterloo on Sunday afternoon on guns and drug charges, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the area of Broadway and Conger streets not long after noon on Sunday after witnesses reported seeing two teens with guns. A 14 year old was located in a Kwik Star and was taken into custody with no issue. He was found with a handgun in his possession. He was charged with carrying weapons and possession of a controlled substance. A 15 year old was located not far away. He tried to run but was soon caught. He also had a handgun. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, interference while armed, and possession of a controlled substance.
