Perhaps with the COVID-19 situation some have forgotten that we are getting into construction season. The City of Waverly has announced an upcoming project that will close a road for 3 months. The reconstruction of 20th Street NW adjacent to Bartels is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 18th. Road closure barricades will be put in place shutting off through traffic. A detour will utilize 20th Street NW and 12 Street NW in order to avoid the portion under construction.
