A second not guilty plea has been entered in a case from Charles City in which two individuals allegedly stole more than $125,000 from an elderly person, according to KIMT. 37 year old Charmaine Carr entered her plea to Financial Exploitation of an Older Individual. She is scheduled to go to trial on September 17th. Police say they did not keep records of any receipts, payouts, or transactions but they do not believe the money was used in the victim’s best interest.
