Three people were sent to the hospital after a crash in Black Hawk County on Monday afternoon, according to KWWL. The collision happened at the intersection of Dysart Road and E. Washburn Road around 1:10 p.m. Investigators believe that 44 year old Travis Mangrich attempted a left hand turn in front of a vehicle driven by 70 year old Terry Grote. Grote ended up striking the side of Mangrich’s vehicle. Mangrich was taken to MercyOne with non-life-threatening injuries while Grote and and his passenger Carol Grote were taken to UnityPoint Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Mangrich was cited for failure to yield.
