$3 Million Bond for Baseball/Softball Complex in Plainfield

The Nashua Plainfield School Board has approved a $3 million bond issue for a new baseball and softball complex in Plainfield, according to KWWL. The issue will be voted upon on Tuesday, March 7th. The project will include a new high school baseball field, a new softball field, concessions, restroom, and two youth baseball fields. The district plans to use funds available through the one-cent statewide sales tax to pay off the bond, so there will be no property tax increase for residents. The district says they will save $1 million in interest by paying off the bond quickly.
