A Waterloo man has won $50,000 on a $5 scratch ticket, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Austin Smith picked up the LUCK scratch ticket at the Metro Mart on Falls Avenue. On Friday he claimed one of the game’s top prizes at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids. There are a total eight $50,000 prizes available, Smith’s was the fourth one claimed.
