Bremer County Health Department administrator Lindley Sharp gave us a COVID-19 update for the county Wednesday morning.
According to Sharp the ninth positive case is not from Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community which is experiencing an outbreak. The county as a whole is now officially experiencing an outbreak and Sharp does expect the Bremer County numbers to rise in the coming days.
Also, Bremer County Health Department will no longer be releasing COVID-19 numbers. Those statistics will all be handled by the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The I.D.P.H. numbers will come out more slowly than the counties had been getting them to the public.
