A New Hampton man has been arrested and is facing charges related to child pornography, according to KIMT. 56 year old William Rolen has been charged with attempted enticement of a minor and receipt, possession, accessing, and distribution of child pornography. According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa, Rolen tried to convince someone he believed to be a minor to engage in sexual activity in February and March of last year. He also allegedly possessed and tried to distribute images of child pornography, including at least one image of a child under 12, between May of 2015 and May of 2018. He is scheduled to go to trial on May 13 in Cedar Rapids Federal Court.
