Teens Arrested at Palmer’s Family Fun

Three teens were detained after they broke into a Waterloo amusement park at 3:00 in the morning Wednesday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Passing police officers noticed go karts driving around in the parking lot of Palmer’s Family Fun on Airline Highway. When the officers went to investigate, the teens got out of the vehicles and ran. They were all apprehended shortly there after. Police also found a broken window to the laser gun shed and the door to the go kart garage was broken open. The juveniles are all males, two of which are 13, the other 14. They’ve been charged with third degree burglary, fifth degree criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools and released to their parents.
