Alcohol will now be available for purchase at University of Northern Iowa’s McCleod Center and the UNI-Dome for football and men’s basketball games, the university announced yesterday. Director of Athletics David Harris said in a press release that the university is always looking for ways to improve the fan experience and were glad to provide this new amenity to its fans. Harris also said they are working hard to ensure that the new alcohol sales will be done in a safe, responsible way. Alcohol sales will be guided by the UNI alcohol sales policy which is designed to promote responsible consumption along with a safe, enjoyable game environment for all fans.
