Wednesday, May 18 is a day of remembrance in Black Hawk County.
Wednesday morning at 10:00 citizens will honor those who died in the line of duty at Overman Park in Cedar Falls.
The Cedar Falls Police Department will host the Black Hawk County Peace Officer Memorial Service.
The event is to honor law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice while working to protect everyone in Black Hawk County.
