Sunday COVID-19 Numbers

The Iowa Department of Public Health updated the COVID-19 numbers Sunday. 384 positive cases were reported. That brings the total statewide to 5,476. 1,356 negative tests were also reported bringing that total to 30,614 including the State Hygienic Lab and other labs. 6 deaths were also reported, one of which was in Black Hawk County. That person was described as a middle aged adult which is defined as being between 41 and 60 years old. Black Hawk County has had 939 cases of COVID-19 and now 10 deaths. The Black Hawk County Health Department is releasing their numbers faster than the State so their numbers are larger and more accurate at this time. Bremer County officially currently has 41 cases and have had 2 deaths. Butler County has had 4 cases, as has Chickasaw County, Fayette has seen 15 cases, and Buchanan has had 12 cases.
