The Waverly City Council has a busy meeting Monday night with a 7 page agenda.
As a part of the meeting the Human Diversity Task Force will transition to a permanent commission.
Also, the Green Bridge memorial is on tonight’s agenda. The council has set aside $7,000 for memorializing the bridge.
Waverly Mayor Adam Hoffman shared how state guidelines might make that budget figure lower than reality.
If a span of the bridge is moved Hoffman said to follow state historical preservation guidelines the span must go over a body of water.
