The Charles City man who robbed a Co-Op in Waverly and one in Shell Rock just days apart has been sentenced but will not spend any time behind bars, according to KIMT. 23 year old Dylan Jones broke into the Farmers Win Co-Op in Waverly on May 23rd before breaking into the Farmers Co-Op in Shell Rock two days later. Jones stole a safe in one of the burglaries. That safe was later found in the Cedar River. Authorities found burglar’s tools along with stolen checks and stolen cash in Jones home. He pleaded guilty to 2nd degree theft and three counts of 3rd degree burglary. He has been sentenced to three to five years of probation and ordered to pay restitution.
