A Waterloo man has been arrested after allegedly stealing more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from Wal-mart in November, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 33 year old Dustin Cary has been charged with second degree theft, eluding, reckless driving and driving while suspended. Cary is accused of bypassing the checkout lanes with a cart full of items on the morning of November 10th. He then loaded the items into a Ford Expedition before being spotted by police. In a chase, Cary left the roadway and escaped into a corn field.
