A Waterloo man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of a 2018 date rape in Dubuque, according to KWWL. 47 year old Patrick Booker physically assaulted the victim over the course of several hours after they initially intended to have sex with Booker and another man before refusing to do so. Booker saw his sentence enhanced after a jury previously found him guilty of third degree sexual abuse. He has filed an appeal.
