A Waterloo man has been arrested after allegedly taking his dog back from the city dog catcher, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 27 year old Joseph Kress has had several run ins with Animal Control regarding his three lab mixes named Rufus, Bentley and Sasha and his husky Loki. On January 12th an Animal Control officer seized one of the dogs and put it in the van. Kress then walked up to the officer as he was in the drivers seat, pushed him, took the keys, and freed his dog. Kress fled before police could arrive. He has been charged with second degree burglary. His bond has been set at $10,000.
