Waterloo Police are investigating a second robbery at an apartment complex in less than a week, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the Crossroads Square Apartments around 10:15 Friday night on a report of an assault. A man was attacked in the entry way of the building outside the secured entrance. His wallet was taken and his keys were missing. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. On January 25th police were called to the same apartment complex when a Lawler man said he was forced to give a man a ride from the Kwik Star in New Hampton to the complex. Once the men arrived at their destination the driver was assaulted before the suspect fled. Both crimes are still being investigated and it is unclear if they are related at this time.
