Those is group 1B can now begin receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. However, the demand for the vaccine far exceeds the current supply.
Bremer County Health Department administrator Lindley Sharp talked about that fact.
This week Bremer County received 400 total doses. Sharp encouraged patience and added that health care providers and pharmacies will be contacting eligible people to get the vaccine rather than those wanting the vaccine calling providers.
