Wartburg College will celebrate the naming of the McCoy Living and Learning Center during Homecoming festivities this fall.
The center will encompass the renovated Clinton Hall, a residence hall for students built in 1957, and the addition to the building currently under construction, which includes a multipurpose classroom, a faculty apartment, a small movie theater and student lounges.
The Wartburg College Board of Regents approved naming the living-learning complex after Mike and Marge McCoy. The couple’s $2 million challenge grant, the largest donation to the project, was critical to its fundraising success.
