Waterloo Firefighters were called to a house fire early Wednesday morning, according to KWWL. A fire broke out in the 500 block of Ankeny Street around 12:30 Wednesday morning. When firefighters arrived on scene they found flames coming from the front of the home. They were able to put the blaze out in 20 minutes. Nobody was home at the time of the fire, however, one person has been displaced due to the blaze. The Fire Marshal is currently conducting an investigation on the cause of the fire.
