Wednesday we told you about a man who had been re-arrested for his role in a home invasion in Elk Run Heights where several guns were taken. Now, that man, 21 year old Dequonterio Galloway-Bass, has been charged in shooting that led to his arrest on Monday, according to KWWL. In that case 41 year old Michael Barron was shot in the stomach just after 11:00 a.m. Officers called to the scene found footprints leading to the arrest of Galloway-Bass. Barron continues to recover from injuries described as non-life threatening at a hospital. Galloway-Bass has been charged with being in possession of a firearm as a felon, carrying weapons, and willful injury. He is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
