The Spring Waverly Midwest Horse Sale is going on now. The sale began at 8:00 Wednesday morning with items such as horse drawn vehicles up for bid. Thursday and Friday the horses themselves, from ponies to Clydesdale, will be sold. The horse sale runs every Spring and Fall in Waverly and brings hundreds of people to the area boosting the local economy.
