One man was injured in a shooting in Waterloo on Friday afternoon, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. It is unclear where the shooting took place but the man, who has not been identified, was sitting in his car when gun fire shattered the driver’s side window and pierced the door. The man was struck in the leg. He drove himself to the area of Beech Street before dialing 911. He was able to limp to the ambulance before being taken to the hospital. His wounds are not thought to be life threatening. The man was the only occupant of the vehicle. No suspects have been identified to this point.
