A crash in Waterloo has sent a man to the hospital, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Around 2:30 Thursday afternoon an SUV and a passenger car collided at the intersection of West Ninth Street and Williston Avenue. The car caught fire while the SUV ended up on top of a fire hydrant. Occupants of both vehicles were able to exit their vehicles. A man from the car was taken to the hospital. Those involved have not yet been identified and the man’s condition is unknown at this time.
