A rollover accident near Sumner led to the arrest of the two occupants on Tuesday. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident around 8:30pm. A 1994 Ford Ranger had rolled over and is considered a total loss. The driver of the vehicle was determined to be 48 year old Jayme Steege of Sumner. He was located at a nearby home. He was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Proof of Insurance, and Failure to Maintain Control. His passenger, 44 year old Carrie Christi, also of Sumner, was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They both were taken to the Fayette County Jail.
