After three years and three million dollars the Shell Rock Aquatic Center opens up Friday, June 4th. Lap swim will begin at noon while open swim will start at one. The aquatic center features a slide, a climbing wall, a basketball hoop, and other water features. The aquatic center was slated to open over the Memorial Day holiday but was unable to do so due to the unseasonably cool temperatures.
