An Evansdale man has pleaded guilty in several different cases, including setting Maple Lanes on fire and attempting to rob an armored truck, according to KWWL. Kevin Crus Soliveras pled guilty to 15 crimes in total on Monday in Black Hawk County. He was arrested in March of last year after he and three others attempted to rob an armored truck as it made a routine stop at a US Bank branch in Waterloo. One of the suspects was killed by a truck guard in that case. Before Soliveras could be arrested he committed several other crimes, including breaking into several homes and businesses. He burglarized both Wishbone in Waterloo as well as Maple Lanes Bowling Alley before setting fire to both. A sentencing date for Soliveras has not yet been set but he is expected to spend several decades in prison.
