Wartburg Grad Running for Council Seat

A Wartburg grad has thrown his hat into the ring for the At-Large Waterloo City Council spot, according to KWWL. Rob Nichols, who graduated from Wartburg in 2011 before continuing on to get his Doctorate of Pharmacy at Iowa, is a pharmacist at Greenwood Pharmacy. He says his priorities on City Council would be public safety, career development and home ownership. He says he wants to continue to build the relationship between law enforcement and the public. He also wants maintain the Waterloo Fire Rescue’s status as one of the elite departments in the state.
