The person killed in a crash at the Fredericksburg exit off of Highway 63 has been identified. The Iowa State Patrol says in their report that a Hyundai Accent driven by 68 year old Thomas Kolodziej of Nashua failed to stop at a stop sign before turning onto Highway 18 and was broadsided by a semi driven by 50 year old Jason Woodring of Fredericksburg. Kolodziej died in the crash. Woodring was uninjured in the collision. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
