Waterloo Mayoral Candidate Margaret Klein says she is the victim of a hate crime, according to KWWL. An image has been circulating online showing characters in white hoods and robes with the Waterloo Police griffin on the shoulders holding a sign with three Ks at the beginning of Klein’s last name. Klein says the image characterizes her as something she is not.
