A father accused of breaking his three month old son’s ribs has been acquitted, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. As we told you on Friday the jury was deliberating on if 30 year old Kevin Faulkner had broken the baby’s ribs. Faulkner admitted to bear hugging the baby to help with constipation but the defense argued that would not have been forceful enough to break bones. The mother testified that a family member with behavioral problems and another with drug problems both also cared for the baby.
