Production at the Tyson’s Food facility in Waterloo was halted for a time on Saturday morning due to a bomb threat. The company released a statement saying the safety of their team members is always their top priority and they take these threats very seriously. Workers were evacuated while the Waterloo Police Department’s Bomb Squad swept the facility for a bomb. No explosives were found and production resumed later in the morning.
