A Waterloo man was taken to the hospital after being shot in his home Monday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the home on French Street around 7am. There they found 38 year old Jason Fowler suffering from a gunshot wound. Witnesses told police an unknown assailant forced their way into the home, fired two shots, and then drove off in a black vehicle. No arrests have been made in the case to this point.
