Oelwein Police are investigating a defaced billboard encouraging people to get the COVID-19 vaccine, according to KWWL. The billboard on Highway 150 was spray painted with the phrase “submit to genocide” followed by a derogatory phrase refering to non-Jewish people. Police are currently working with the sign vendor to address the graffiti. No arrests have been reported to this point.
