Three people from North Liberty have been arrested after leading police on a high speed chase after allegedly taking $1,000 worth of merchandise from Old Navy in Cedar Falls, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 22 year old Russell Miller, 27 year old Zhane Ball and 20 year old Tiandra Ball are alleged to have entered the Old Navy store and began filling shopping bags full of clothes around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. They left the store before police could arrive. Their Chevrolet Blazer was spotted near Evansdale a short time later. As police joined the chase the Blazer took off down Interstate 380, traveling at a high rate of speed and passing cars on the shoulder. Their vehicle was disabled as they entered Linn County. Miller tried to run but was quickly caught. The stolen merchandise was found in the vehicle.
