The City of Janesville is switching their garbage and recycling collection services. The change will be made on Tuesday December 28th. The public is asked to have their garbage totes at the curb, even if they are empty, so that they can be collected by Rite Environmental. The new company, Black Hawk Waste, will be distributing the new totes to each residence. The grey totes will not be switched out. Garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursdays beginning on January 6th.
