Two women were hospitalized after a crash with a semi trailer on Saturday night, according to KWWL. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 300 block of North Canfield Road around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night. A Chevy Malibu had crashed into the rear driver side of a semi-trailer. The semi was attempting to turn around by backing into a private driveway. The car did not see it try this maneuver and crashed into the back of the trailer. The women were taken to Allen Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured but did receive multiple citations.
