A crash in Chickasaw County claimed the life of a Nashua man Monday morning. 43 year old Nicholas Dietz was driving westbound on Highway 346 when he lost control of his vehicle due to the road conditions and entered the ditch. The vehicle rolled before coming to rest on its roof. Dietz was pronounced dead at the scene. 74 year old Dee Dietz, also of Nashua, was also injured in the crash. She was taken to Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
