One person was killed in an afternoon house fire in Waterloo Wednesday, according to KWWL. Fire crews were called to the area of 1827 Commercial Street shortly after 2pm after receiving a report of smoke in the area. They were able to put the fire out but one adult was killed in the blaze. That person’s identity has not yet been released. The cause of the fire also has not yet been released.
