Charles City Police are looking for a man who allegedly impersonated a utility worker in an attempt to gain entry into a home, according to KIMT. The report was made Wednesday morning. A man claimed to be from the water department and asked to enter the home. The home owner did not allow the man into their home. The man is described as wearing a tool belt, a blue jacket, blue jeans, and being over 6 feet tall. The Charles City Utility Department says the man was not one of their employees. Police say to call them if a suspicious person comes to your door.
