The City of Cedar Falls has announced that the Transfer Station on State Street will be shut down for scheduled maintenance beginning on March 7th. The station will be closed on Saturdays and use will be limited during the week. Appliances, tires, electronics, clean asphalt shingles and scrap metal will be accepted as normal. The main Recycling Center next to the Transfer Station will be open from 7:00 to 3:30 during the week and from 8:00 to 3:00 on Saturdays. The maintenance is expected to be finished around March 23rd. Remote Drop sites will continue as normal.
