Sumner Police have arrested a 20 year old man who allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 15 year old girl. Police were initially called in after the girl ran away from DHS. While they were working that, they found that the girl may be in a sexual relationship with an adult man. That man was identified as Michael Koch. Officers were able to track him down at a self check in facility in Waterloo. During an interview, Koch admitted to illegal sexual conduct with the underage female. Koch also had a warrant out for his arrest from Chickasaw County for 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse. He was arrested on that warrant and the new 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse charge and booked into the Bremer County Jail.
