A juvenile in Waterloo checked themselves into MercyOne Waterloo late Friday night with a stab wound to the chest, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The boy was later transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening. The Courier reported a shooting inside a truck around the same time the boy was allegedly stabbed, although they were unable to provide a connection at this time. Police say witnesses have been uncooperative to this point. The investigation is still ongoing.
