A teenager from Waterloo has been charged with third degree Sexual Abuse after impregnating a 13 year old girl, according to KCRG. Mitchell Gray was 17 when he allegedly had sex with the girl between May 1st and August 10th of 2021 in Central City. A DNA test confirmed that the baby belonged to Gray. His bond has been set at $10,000. At the time of the alleged crime, sexual abuse against a 13 year old was considered Third Degree Sexual Abuse, that law has now changed to be considered Second Degree Sexual Abuse.
