Cedar Falls Police are investigating a hit and run that led to domestic assault charges. After responding to the report of a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist on 7th and Tremont Streets around 11 pm Tuesday, 38-year-old Yolanda Draine of CF was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, domestic assault by use of a weapon and willful injury. Further investigation revealed that she intentionally struck her husband on the bike after an argument. Twenty nine-year-old Michael Draine, was taken to the hospital for his injuries and later arrested for an outstanding probation violation.
