Deere Moving Cab Production to Mexico

Deere has confirmed that they are moving their cab production from the Tractor and Cab Assembly Operations facility in Waterloo to a plant in Mexico, according to KWWL. At this time there are no planned layoffs and the move is being made to make room for a new build at the Waterloo facility. Although, it is unknown what that new project would entail. Around 1,100 people work at the TCAO facility. Deere expects the move to be completed during the 2024 fiscal year.
