Prison for Multiple Drug & Gun Arrests

A Waterloo man has been sentenced to prison time after being caught three times with a gun and K2 synthetic marijuana, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 29 year old Lloyd Allen III was sentenced to nine years and six months in prison on Monday. In June of 2020 Allen was a passenger in a car that was pulled over by police. Under his seat police found a stolen 9mm Glock 19 handgun and a bag with 305 grams of K2. In February of last year a vehicle he was driving was pulled over. In the trunk police found a loaded .380 caliber Smith and Wesson Bodyguard pistol with a scratched serial number and 14 grams of K2. Finally in June of last year police searched Allen’s home. During this search Allen dropped a loaded 9mm Taurus G2 out of a window. That gun was recovered and 129 grams of K2 were found in his bedroom. Allen was prohibited from handling firearms because of a felony conviction in a 2009 incident in which he fired into a group of people, hitting a 15 year old in the leg.
